Le “420″ edition
Whew! How about that auction kids! Who got the white piano for $60? The Ralph Lauren cabinet for $120? The chandeliers for $15, the J.C.Pino for $100, and the Victorian four seater train bench for $20?!!! As if we aren’t kooky enough when we are here sipping champagne at noon, catch us in the evening full of cocktails and we will give it all up for a song! (Badly sung, perhaps, but our heel-toe is always entertaining…)
Well, it was a ton of fun, and that’s all that matters anyway, right sweet bébés?
So, with all of the movin’, grovin’, painting and fluffing that we’ve been doing around here, our little playground has been getting some attention, and darlings, a mille fois mercis!
To everyone who stops by with their out-of-town friends, to everyone who battles through evening traffic to come to our little auctions and parties, to everyone who tells their friends about our wonderful Lampe Berger collection, and who mentions how much we have changed, again, thank you thank you!
We couldn’t do it without all of our amazing friends- and that means you, lover.
Check us out in an article in Oz magazine this month, in Jezebel as “Best Antique Store in Atlanta”, and MSN wrote a sweet little piece that you can check out here.

Have you seen our newest boutique (Sit and Stare) out of New Orleans? Torched furniture, gilding, Lucite, over-dyed rugs and velvet solves all of my woes. There is even a piece named after the shop mistress- Nicolette. Come and guess which one!
Texture-that’s a home with charisma.
Sass-it rhymes with things for a reason.
Divide a room with pieces of history.
Want to look smarter? Maps and sexy lighting do it for me…
Well, jusqu’à la semaine prochaine, dearest friends.
we will be closed this Tuesday and Wednesday for some more quick renovations….Wait until you see what we have up our sleeves next!
